Description: *The CFO is responsible for developing the Banks profit plan and maintaining its overall financial position.
*As a member of senior management, must maintain the Banks financial record keeping and reporting as well as ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations. *Collaborates with Senior Level Management to continually develop strategic business objectives through short and long-term planning. *Delivers pertinent financial information to the President/CEO, other members of Senior Management, the Board of Directors, and shareholders.
*Collects, reviews, and evaluates data for financial, regulatory, and internal reporting and recordkeeping purposes.
*Maintains communication with tax accountants, regulatory agencies, and other parties concerned.
*Supervises the Banks accounting and payroll functions. |

Job
Requirements:
*A minimum of a four-year degree in business management or finance is required in addition to graduation from a recognized school of banking. *Completion of other courses as required by the State of North Carolina or the Bank as necessary.
*A complete understanding of accounting, taxation, investing, and regulatory compliance is required. *Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of bank operations in addition to state FDIC and SEC regulations. *Knowledge of budgeting processes and strategies is a must.
*A CPA is preferred.
*Any knowledge specifically related to advanced accounting and taxation is beneficial.
*Experience Requirements:
*At least ten years of accounting with particular emphasis in general banking is required.
*Prior experience should include exposure to audit, bank operations, finance, and accounting.
*Management experience is needed.
*Skills Requirements:
*Highly developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal relations skills are required.
*Must demonstrate expertise in the financial services industry. *Analytical abilities with a capacity for scrutinizing large amounts of financial data are a must.
*Should be an effective time and resource manager and possess strong computer skills.
